The twenty rooms and two suites at Carnegie House are individually decorated with a beautiful collection of antiques, Oriental rugs and many modern conveniences. Guests have an opportunity to stay in as many different rooms as they wish before they select and settle into their favorite accommodations for future occasions.

All rooms have entrance foyers, ceiling fans and sunny windows that open for fresh air. There is a comfortable sitting area with Oriental carpets underfoot. Each has an armoire and two telephones (one of which is equipped with modem response for computer users).

There are rooms with dormer windows and desks, as well as soft-textured rooms with king size canopy beds (like the one decorated in Laura Ashley style). Still there are more refined rooms, many rooms with window seats. The variety lends extra pleasure in selecting a favorite. There are remote control televisions, guest regulated heating, and air conditioning. Thick terry robes are provided for guests' use while at Carnegie House after enjoying a luxurious bath in the deep soaking tub or a long, relaxing shower.

Tour More Suites 

The suites occupy the third floor of Carnegie House. The living/dining rooms are equipped with televisions and telephones, comfortable sofas and deep chairs as well as dining table and chairs.  Please call The Carnegie House at 814-234-2424 if you wish to book a suite so that we may ensure you get the custom attention you deserve with these special rooms.

The bedrooms have canopy king-size beds, walk-in closets, televisions, telephones and double doors that lead into a large bath with deep soaking tubs, large showers and vanities with double sinks. There are kitchenettes with microwaves and refrigerators that are stocked with the basic needs for comfortable living. The suites have powder rooms next to the entrance foyer. The windows of either suite overlook the golf course.

Carnegie House boasts numerous sitting areas for hours of chatting, meeting, or rest and relaxation. The beautiful library is situated near a well equipped bar, perfect for any occasion. There is also a very special gift shop available with many carefully selected items.
